The Braver Angels Alliance of Fairfax, Virginia, holds workshops, debates, and public presentations designed to bridge the political divide we are experiencing in our country. Our events help conservatives, liberals, and independents get past stereotypes and have civil conversations about current issues, helping open the way to productive problem-solving, mutual respect and understanding.
September 2024 Meetings
Our next regular meeting will take place on September 17th, from 7:00pm-9:00pm, at Falls Church Episcopal Church, Rm. 231, Nicholoson Hall.
The meeting will entail a structured conversation reflective of national debate over the proposition that “A candidate’s character matters more than their issue positions.”
If you want to watch or participate in the National Braver Angels debate on that same subject on September 12th at 8 PM, you can register here. Then bring those ideas and your own responses to our in-person conversation on the 17th.
Our follow-up dialogue on immigration will take place in October.

Local Alliance Chapters in the DMV (DC, MD, NoVA) Area
Braver Angels Alliances are grass-roots groups with balanced membership of conservative, liberal, and those citizens in-between host local meetings and events in a safe and organized setting.
Meetings and events are free and require no commitments. Just bring your willingness to listen, learn, and participate with civility, without judgment.
